Tuesday, December 27th, 2011

23 December 2011: Biodiversity is the degree of variation of life forms within a given ecosystem, or an entire planet. Some descried biodiversity as everything that is necessary to survive on this planet and a measure of the health of ecosystems. Biodiversity is in part a function of climate in terrestrial habitats. Tropical regions are typically rich whereas Polar Regions support fewer species. Everybody agree that biological resources are fundamental to human well being in agriculture, livestock, logging, export earning, economic output and for their ecological services and function.
